Birkdale and Ainsdale u3a was established in 1991. We are a friendly group with around 100 members, small enough for everyone to feel a sense of belonging and the prospect of getting to know new people.
We meet every Tuesday afternoon at St Peter’s Church Hall on St Peter’s Road, Birkdale. Our different interest groups cover a diverse mix of activities from Keep Fit to Bridge; Art & Craft to Rummikub and Scrabble. However, there always remains scope for the creation of new ones.
If you would like to become a member of the Birkdale & Ainsdale u3a, please come along to St Peter’s Church Hall any Tuesday afternoon. There are Committee members present from 1.30pm and activities commence at 2.00pm.

Our annual membership fee is £10, with a reduction if you produce a current membership card for another u3a. There is a small charge for attending some activities. For example, those held at St Peter’s Church Hall are subject to an entry fee of £3.00.
